    PART 4: My Personal Mission Statement – 4 of 5 Power Statements For Your Life

    Scott Trembley: Good afternoon. Scott Trembley, President/CEO from The Trembley Group Real Estate Firm here in Myrtle Beach. I hope you guys are doing fantastic out there, guys and gals. I’m back to you with a series of five core values and beliefs that I’ve lived my life by and designed my life by as well as my business. We started off with dream big. Number two was choose wisely. Number three was keep faith. Number four is another very powerful one. Number four is take risks. Everything in your life that you do, if you want things to be average or you want things to be easy, typically you’re just going to take the easy road. But anything that you do that has value that’s probably going to help you grow and bring strength and power to your life, there’s going to be a little risk involved. Calculated risk is good, but you got to take risks sometimes in life.

    One thing I learned from my mother growing up was that she was always … She wrote on my cabinets growing up all the time to fail forward. I looked at that at first, because I just loved to win. I’m like, “fail forward”, what does that mean? But the more I grew and learned in my life, it was like, you know what, if you’re not out there taking risks and going for it, then you’re not failing. But if you are failing, and you’re out there, and you’re making things happen.

    Anyhow, at the end of the day, taking risks is very, very important. If you want to get somewhere in life, if you want to have powerful relationships, if you want to have power relationships with your kids, take risks. Be real with them. Be authentic. Be that way in your organization. Be that way with your friends. Just be that way with everyday life and go for it. I think big things will happen for you. On that note, love to talk to you.
